"The pool was out."

"The property needs major update. It's old and it shows. The reception personnel was nice in both my check-in and check-out. My room was clean but it couldn't hide the fact that modern updating is very much needed. It has a fridge which was a plus. It also has a safe, but mine was broken and unusable. An iron is available but there was no ironing board. The tv remote turns on the tv and turns it off, but that's all it could do. Parking was enough. I found parking close to my room. The property location maybe the star of this review. It's close to pretty much everything. Target is right next door and Panda Express is a few steps away. Restaurants line the street where the property is located. Believe me, you'll never get hungry."

"The Wind Creek and Casino is top notch. From the amenities, rooms, spa, fitness and availability, all were better than expected and very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and stay there again and again."

"Very unpleasant stay overall. The bed and mattress were completely worn out and sinking badly from the center, which caused us serious back pain the next morning. The room also had an old, unpleasant smell that seemed to be covered up with strong freshener instead of being properly cleaned. The furniture and overall condition felt outdated and poorly maintained. We expected a comfortable and relaxing stay but unfortunately had the opposite experience. Definitely not worth the price we paid."

"Worst hotel I have ever been to. Tried to check in at 1pm, but they let the people before us stay past 2pm. I had 6 people on my reservation, the booking said it slept 6 people. It didn’t. It slept 4. I had to ask for a roll away bed, which only sleeps 1. We were already down a bed. Extra linens were requested and never gave. I had to check in at 12am, and when I got into the room, the ceiling was falling in and water was running from the ceiling in multiple spots. The lady at the desk was going to do nothing about it and make us leave because we couldn’t stay. I said I needed a room, she gave me keys to a room that was apparently closed for maintenance, and the room keys didn’t work. I went back down, she gave me new keys, and the keys still didn’t work. Then as I’m going back down again, someone comes out of the room she was trying to give us to move into. Worst experience ever. Staff was rude, lazy, and completely unhelpful. Ended up having to drive all the way to northern Michigan through the night because we had nowhere to stay. This hotel should not be allowed to operate. "

"Overall the place was very nice. The breakfast we paid for in advance didn't start until 7:30a, which is odd for a hotel so close to the airport. The coffee shop & restaurant both opened later than 7:30 as well...we left at 7:40 and that wasn't enough time to grab breakfast or coffee. We did appreciate the on-brand dove soap throughout!"

"We arrived in the evening to find our room humid, stale, and without any air circulation. The air conditioner was off, and it would not turn on when we attempted to use it. When we contacted the front desk, we were instructed to troubleshoot the unit ourselves by unplugging and reconnecting it. We were also informed that maintenance was not on site and that a ticket would need to be submitted. Maintenance did arrive approximately 15 minutes later and identified the issue as a switch that had been turned off. After they restored it, the air conditioner functioned for roughly 45 minutes before failing again and blowing warm air. When I requested to be moved to another room, I was told the hotel was fully booked. We selected the Sleep Inn for a simple overnight stay before our early morning flight on Saturday, May 16. Instead, we spent the night in an uncomfortably hot room and were unable to rest before a required 3 AM wake‑up for travel. The conditions were unacceptable and did not reflect the value of the rate paid. At that point, sleeping in my car would have offered more comfort than the room provided."
