"Great hotel with great location"

"This hotel is not as advertised. The rooms are very tiny and everyone has to walk sideways. Home2Suites were oversold so the over flow went to Hampton Inn. Unfortunately to get a spacious room you have to need an accesible room. The elevators took almost an hour to come although there were about 5 elevators. And the hotel is under construction."

"I didn't have breakfast. I was denied breakfast and I was running late meeting with my tour guide to the statute of Liberty and Ellis Island. I thought since I have paid for a room with breakfast, the had a data that show that information but it was not that way. I was told I needed to download the voucher for separately. Since I was running late I left.."

"Great property at a great location. Room was a good size for NYC. Desk staff, concierge and baggage storage staff were very helpful."

"Nice location! Our room wasn’t cleaned very well, especially the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. We used our slip ones when walking around our room, obviously carpets are very dirty especially in a city so big. We could hear honking from the cabs but it didn’t seem to bother us while we slept. Breakfast buffet had no gluten free items and was pretty pricey for more of a continental breakfast."

"We enjoyed our stay. We were able to check-in a little earlier and I really appreciated that. Rooms were cleaned everyday. I like that the bath towels were replaced because I've stayed at other hotels that do not replenish the bath towels."

"Very clean. Beds were ok. The worst part was the first day. All elevators were down. Then they fixed one and then there was a long line to be able to use it. I paid for breakfast but then items were too limited. If I have known a would have not paid for it."

"Very happy with our stay. After reading many reviews about the wait for the elevators I requested and was given a room on the 2nd floor. That was great to be able to use the stairs instead of waiting for the elevators. The room was clean and presentable upon arrival. We did have to ask to have the soap and conditioner replaced in the shower. It was empty and not refilled when they cleaned the room. The dishwasher had an awful smell to it.
