"We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. "The service was exceptional, also the food and cocktails. The place was really well decorated and looked elegant. Apart from one waiter at breakfast being a bit rude giving me the check without telling me no need to rush then saying goodbye to me in a kind of miserable way all staff delivered exceptional service. "Friendly staff, very nice room with coffee machine and complementary drinks in the fridge. We had nice dinner and breakfast in the pub, was convenient for us to stay one night in the area. The only downside was the sofa bed was not so comfortable and really squeaky! But the kids slept ok and we appreciated being able to stay with our 2 kids in the room."
