"The hotel is charming and the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The night stands were tiny as was the shower but the room was clean and the location was perfect for us to explore the Golden Circle. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant, followed by yummy ice cream made right there on the farm. Agritourism at its finest! "

"This was a cute restful place to stay. The room was immaculate and really comfortable beds, powerful hot shower. The breakfast served in the little chalet was delicious. We were in Iceland for the midnight sun so it was nice to have black blinds that were truly black out. The tomato farm restaurant next door was also an incredible unexpected delight! Booked this place for location but would love to go back."

"My wife and I spent our first night in Iceland at Hotel Gulfoss and could not have been happier with our choice. The location is perfect for visiting the attractions on the Golden Circle furthest from Reykjavik. Our room was large, clean, and well-appointed. The king bed was comfortable and had twin duvets, so there was no arguing over how much cover each of us needed. We enjoyed a delicious lamb dinner in the dining room with views of the spectacular landscape. The bar had a good wine and liquor selection. There is plenty of free parking. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great accommodations for one night or several."
