"We were after a traditional Japanese style stay and we were not disappointed from the moment we got off the ferry. We were greeted by the friendly local deer, which the kids loved. The Staff were very friendly, courteous and very attentive and accommodating. The room was very clean - traditionally kept - we slept on futons, floor was tatami mats, ate on the traditional tables and bathed in the onsen. Highly recommend if you’re after a traditional experience!!!"

"This quaint little hostel in the country was our first experience at a hostel. People were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor and there was no elevator. The room we had chosen was a Japanese style room. We got to the room and at bedtime had to make our beds on the floor (not complaining just stating facts). There was a cafe in the lobby/lounge area. The food was good and pretty inexpensive. The place is also filled with manga, ping pong, game systems and other fun things for guests to do. Other rooms were themed rooms (as one of the other guests was very excited about their space themed room). The hostel was about a five-ten minute walk from a small train stop that took you to hiroshima or to the ferry for miyajima."
