"Our stay at Taj Devi Ratn was spectacular. The room was very spacious and the staff very incredibly courteous and efficient. The available dining options were great and authentic. The only downside to the hotel is the distance from the Jaipur city center, but the area was very peaceful as a result."

"The address of the property listed on Expedia and contact number both were not correct . We struggled to reach to the property and room was also not clean and full of smoke . On request staff changed our room but still the quality of this hotel is not as per the stars given to the property . Bedsheets , walls of the room are all stained and of poor quality . Breakfast had only basic items though . Overall my stay at this property was poor ."

"There were several major issues during our stay at this hotel. Food hygiene: Throughout our three-day stay, the breakfast area was overrun with flies. They were landing on food en mass and staying there, especially on the uncovered breads and pastries. After observing for nearly an hour, one staff member told another to “zap” the flies. "We loved this property as the Family & staff were so helpful & went out of their way to make sure we were happy & always there is we were having any difficulty calling the taxi & so on. They also have Cookery classes that you can join & that was such fun, Near by (walking distance) was a fantastic grocery store with all the spices you wished to buy to take home. "

"This was a lovely place to stay. I was lucky enough to have my room upgraded and was just around the corner from the rooftop pool. The staff were really helpful and this was a great base to explore from."

"This is a lovely hotel with a great rooftop bar and restaurant on the ground floor. The food offering could be better with attention paid to details (eg local jams etc at breakfast not generic plastic packets). All the staff are lovely though the front desk were slow and we had some problems with miscommunication over booked transport but they sorted it in the end!"

Yes, it can be a touch noisy during the day but don’t let that put you off. The room was perfectly fine for my needs (safe, secure, comfortable bed, clean sheets and a really good shower).
