"It was a family run unique hotel that was very quaint.The room was clean, and staff were helpful. The major problem was the rooms on 2nd floor require carrying luggage up a very steep staircase. This was difficult for senior woman."

The Saucy Willow Inn and Cottages

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming lakeside inn. Stephanie was the perfect host—she greeted us warmly from the moment we arrived and made us feel right at home throughout our visit. The Saucy Willow Inn, at 143 years old, is full of character and history. It has been beautifully renovated over the past few years, blending modern comforts with its original charm and thoughtful details. The property itself is expansive, peaceful, and absolutely gorgeous, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our room was spotless and very comfortable (the mattress was wonderful!) In the morning, we enjoyed delicious freshly baked scones and coffee for breakfast (other options offered included bagels, eggs, overnight oats and smoothies). What a lovely way to start the day! If you're looking for a quiet getaway with exceptional hospitality (and only 1.5 hours from Toronto) the Saucy Willow Inn is a fantastic choice. We will be back again soon! Lakeview Motel

"We stayed in the Dome and had a fantastic weekend. The Dome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Harsha our host went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and special as possible. The hotel is in a beautiful location near lots of nice restaurants and hiking trails. As a bonus lots of very tame deer like to walk around the hotel which is great for photo opportunities. We will definitely return here!"

Haliburton Post House

"We were unfamiliar with the Haliburton Post House and booked two nights , mid week, on a whim to get out of town. The room was beautiful, the food and wine selection was great. We took advantage of their waterfront and toys on what may have been the hottest day of the year. Thanks to the staff who made us feel welcome and were the highlight of our stay."

"What a beautiful place to stay! Wish we could have stayed longer. The staff deserved more stars than 5; the dinner was beyond expectation, and the room was delightful. The beach front is inviting, with an expansive deck, fire pits and kayaks. We really enjoyed cocktails on the patio before dinner. Thanks for making our weekend so great."
