"Nice room and good to see it contained an ironing board and iron and a microwave and a fridge. I did not use any of them but it was good to know for future stays. Great looking lobby and good breakfast. Close to city centre amenities albeit at a slight remove."

"I stayed 2 nights in the Seaview Hotel in July 2025 - on arrival, I was struck by the age and traditional appearance of the building, and wondered how such a small property could offer rooms. Inside, it's gorgeous - a lot of money has been spent on developing the property, and very thoughtful touches have been added to the rooms. It was extremely comfortable, and the food in the bistro was excellent. Highly recommended!"

"Booked this for one of my employees who was working in the area. When he arrived he was shown to a room in the roofspace that had to duck all the time due to the amount the roof came into the room. Booked a room with a private bathroom but he was shown a bathroom along a public corridor, not exactly private! Then the bar was noisy until about 0130 when he was trying to sleep as he was up early in the morning. Needless to say he wasn't very happy!"
