"Bedding had holes and stains on, was washed but horrible looking. Door was not tight, had about a 3/4 “ space of play. Had a chain lock. I had to put a chair under handle to feel a little safer. Had to twist light bulb to turn off and on. If we would known the area and had time and money to find another place we would have! Not recommended!!!"

However, if you want a Motel 6 style clean room with a comfortable bed and a pretty good location, then this hotel will work great for you. Do not expect any amenities - and I mean none (not even a pen in the room). And don't be surprised by the $45/night facility fee - despite no amenities."

"The bell staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating! Trying to reach the front desk from your room phone is nearly impossible, it is extremely busy. This was a very busy weekend in NYC, though, so that could have been it. We were put in a room that was next to a carpet dryer in the hallway with a musty smell, so that was disappointing, but the room was very nice, shower pressure was amazing and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! "Upon entry the staff was very friendly and accommodating, they even allowed us to check in early (for a fee), and let us check our bags in when we were checking out. The rooms themselves were clean and housekeeping came by daily to refresh the sheets and towels. I would gladly stay at the Renwick again!"

However, our air tickets were cancelled the some day to inclement weather in the midwest. We had several thunderstorms, tornado warnings and flash flooding warnings. "Very nice staff, a bit of an older hotel though. Things are a bit worn down, and the bathtub and carpet weren't the cleanest (not that they're necessarily dirty, but just old). But given the price, not too bad. Breakfast was kinda cheap too, just milk, cereal, and some cheap pastries, but again, within this price range, it's not bad."

"Great old hotel. The room was beautiful, large and clean. The only thing I didn't like was that the fancy light switches did not work so you have to turn most of the lights on with the switch on the lamp cords. Not a big deal for such a beautiful room. I recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again."
