"We were worried about noise when we arrived, as there was a busy bar directly below us. Wow, the soundproofing was amazing! We didn't hear a thing! Right on the beach, it could not be a more perfect location. The bus stop is off the parking lot. The pool was uncrowded. The beds, super comfy. The balcony, terrific, with the added bonus of cockatoos visiting in the mornings (don't feed them!). Yes, there is construction going on, but the hours are reasonable."

"We had a lovely, relaxing one-week stay at the Mirage. The location was great — only 3km from the city centre. There are shuttle buses into Airlie Beach at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm, though it would have been nice if they also offered a later shuttle around 4pm. The buffet breakfast was simple but good. The only downside was that there weren’t many dinner options at the restaurant. Staff were lovely and friendly. Unfortunately, the room was not properly cleaned on arrival. The bathroom, shower...

"It was comfortable and affordable. Suited our needs. The reception girl was excellent and had the room ready early for us as we had to change and go to a wedding by the usual check in time."

"The staffs were very nice, friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room was dirty with lots of insects, the toilet was dirty. Breakfast with no eggs and ham. 12-15 minutes walk to town. "

Great location, very central and walking distance to most key tourist spots. No steep hills to climb like many other accomodation options in town. This is my second stay at the hotel and i would return again. "
