"Everything was great about bushman’s. Staff were friendly and kind and the cabins were beautiful and modern. Only thing we had a bit of trouble with was a trainee at the desk who kept being left by himself and he clearly hadn’t yet been trained in some of the basic info so made it a bit difficult to get clear answers but he was lovely and tried very hard to help. Otherwise, no complaints "

"Cathkin Cottage was charming and cosy offering a homely feel to the traveller. Roger is a friendly host who always tries to keep you comfortable and even arranged for an emergency light through the loadshedding. It was a pleasant experience to have someone check on your meal preferences a day in advance and make arrangements for earlier than usual breakfast trips. "

"Staff was on strike BECAUSE NOT PAID FOR FEBRUARY BY ORION AS AT 23 MARCH. Skeleton staff of six did an amazing job and must be commended. Lovely spot, but looks as though it will go to the dogs if Orion doesn't wake up. Are they in financial trouble?"

However, the host did not tell us we would be sharing the house with other guests abs this caused a startle with those we found in the house already. The gyser was not working and this was on a 9degree Celsius weather where we had to take a night and morning cold shower.
