Charming Historic Hotel

Nice historic building with charm and friendly staff. The free full breakfast was delicious. Only problem was windows open to the hallway with no outside light or air.

The service of the staff was wonderful! The breakfast was formal sitting & very delicious. The location was perfect. Everything we had hoped to see was within walking distance and yet the hotel was quiet due to a lovely park right across the street. I would highly recommend this hotel! Thanks to the great staff and location!

Our room was located next to a building that made a loud "boom" and it was startling. Also, it was a bit uncomfortable that out bathroom window faced the hallway. From outside our room, we could see a room's, that was right below us) toilet seat. It was clean.

Good for family

Good location, not far from downtown, and customer service was excellent. We would definitely return but when the weather is cooler because it was hot in the room.

Family trip to Guanajuato

The hotel is good, the service at the restaurant was amazing the waiter was so nice and all was clean. Room wise the housekeeping was awesome and nice. Really wasn’t much of services needed. Over all a good stay. Host day of check in was very informative.

We like the are us pretty close to the mommy museum the center the Callejón del beso etc. what we don’t like is the towels of the hotel are so hard the beds mattres are hard. Also if you bring kids pls keep the away from the glass in the vanity from the room the not safe my son accidentally broke. And if you do they will charge 500$ on your card and 100$ cash.

Too much noise

Too much noise from the kitchen very early, and noise at night from the rooms next door. It was difficult to sleep and the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable.

Hotel was okay . door to room is very flimsy kinda scary anyone could pop the door open . food was okay . kinda weird to be out and get back to hotel @midnight and hotel doors locked and lights off never been to a hotel that does that . we literally had to pound on door to get in. look like we woke up whom ever opened door to us because it was dark in waiting lobby that to me is not right a lobby should always be opened plus a staff member at desk.

Hotel is old and dated. The stay was average. Beds were not comfortable and bedding was ripped. Smallest tvs I have ever seen and they had horrible reception Staff were not very helpful and short when asked a question. Wi-fi was horrible and I had to go to a cafe to get my work done. They had different passwords and servers per floor and none of them worked. Ended up going to a different hotel for night 2

What I did not like was that our room did not have a window to the exterior, only to the interior hallway. It was difficult to get air movement through the room in order to cool it down.

Not what I was expecting! I booked this hotel one day before travel to Guanajuato, I read only 2 reviews and they said it was a nice hotel and great experience, I should’ve kept reading more. When we arrived and saw the location didn’t like it but I thought it will be better inside! Nope! The staff was great but once we got our key with like a ruler thing hanging I don’t know how to call it. When I opened the door WOW! It looked old 2 windows in the room one looking to another wall,and another to the hallway. No phone to call the lobby I had to go down for roulette paper because they only leave one roll, the tv we could only watch 3 channels blurry, super thin blanket had to asked for an extra. You could hear EVERYTHING from the hallway, next room, and the next room, a lady was taking a shower at 7 am singing and we would hear it as if she was next to us. There was a dinning chair in case we needed one 😂. And we were told that our rooms were just remodeled, I can’t imagine how the rest of the rooms were. If you want to spend $20 dls more you could get something better at better location in zona centro.
