"We stayed at the property for 2 nights. We stayed on the second floor. We got excited at first because the room was pretty nice, the furniture and the bathroom were brand new. However, our room was not cleaned at all during our stay. We called the front desk and the housekeeping, and they didn't do anything. So we had the same towels for 2 nights. "Greeted by valet. Checked in. Grabbed a few albums in lobby for the record player in room, which my son loved. Two queen beds were comfortable. Room size was great. Clean. Plenty of towels. Breakfast was good. Many options to choose from and help from staff was a first and welcomed. Had tickets for Red Sox and enjoyed being next door to Fenway, very convenient. Would recommend and stay here again. "

"We've stayed here on a number of occasions visiting our Northeastern Student. This time was simply to visit the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Location is great. Walkable to a couple of restaurants. Above normal continental breakfast in the morning. Limited parking on the ground floor (you need to have your room key to access BEFORE you try to enter or you'll get stuck on a very steep incline with not many options to back out. "The rooms are clean and comfortable. But communication is poor. I booked a room through Expedia and selected a room with photos of a king bed and pullout couch. When I arrived, I was told that my room only had the king bed and was asked if I wanted to upgrade. I asked to change to a room with either 2 queens or a king with a pullout couch. Then they told me they were at capacity and had no other rooms, but they could make the change if I came back the next day. This same conversation happened...

"This place is awesome. Reminds me of the old inns in Cape May, NJ. I checked in on an unusually warm day in Boston and the staff offered me a cooler room on a lower floor. So kind! The bed was comfy, the shower was hot with good water pressure, and it was quiet. Great, walkable neighborhood as well! I’d definitely stay here again."

"The best thing about this hotel is its location and its breakfast. It is right in the middle of Brighton and 5 minutes or less from the B Green Line and 10 minutes from the C Green Line. The neighborhood has some cute diners, restaurants and cafes. The included breakfast is decent, with waffles and eggwichs, fruit, yogurt, cereal and plenty of coffee and tea. "It’s a big shame to recommend such a horrible location Ugly entrance, the smart enter keys having problems, very narrow and abruptly stairs , cracked walls, rusted heaters. Almost unusable toilet room, without towels, without paper towel, without toilet paper , no soap The room has only beds ( with descurajant linen), no table, no chairs, no shelves. "The property is well maintained and accessible. Friendly staff except for male receptionist who(jokingly, he said) referred to Canada being the 51st state one day. Being a Canadian, I didn’t appreciate this, joke or no joke. Didn’t appreciate it that he had to ask me again that I am who I am after presenting him with official ID. Because my name is normally for a male, I felt that he was challenging me with my identity. BTW, I was born a female but my parents gave me a male name from the Bible....
