Beautiful place, our only complaint was the noise of the beds - very squeaky with any movement which woke us up all night. They were pretty antiques, just loud springs, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The place was located well, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Loved the hiking and location, so picturesque! Definitely recommend.

Wonderful time in a picturesque village

Absolutely stunning little gem in the surroundings of Cefalu. Debora and the staff were really welcoming. We had a pleasant stay in a charming house of a typical Sicilian village. Our room was decorated with taste and the house is full of nice little touch and details eg. some Ortiga soaps are provided for the guests. It’s also great to come back to a cool and fresh place after enduring scorching heat.

Otillgängligt och långt ifrån Cefalù.

Marknadsförs som boende nära Cefalù. Ligger dock en timma med bil bort genom en krokig bergsväg. Ingen aircondition vilket gör boendet otroligt varmt under sommaren. Ingen kyl i rummet. Väldigt svårt att köra i byn Gratteri, nästan omöjligt att köra fram för att lämna av bagage. Marknadsförs som boende med fri parkering, vilket visade sig inte alls finnas platser. Parkering sker på vanlig gata utan särskilda platser. Trevlig tjej som tog emot oss och var hjälpsam under vistelsen. Desto värre skulle hon bara vara där en månad. Ägaren syntes inte till. Rekommenderas ej om din intension är att bada vid havet eller äta en middag inne i Cefalù då boendet ligger alldeles för långt bort.

Kann man machen, …

Das Hotel ist einfach zu finden, unser Zimmer war interessant eingerichtet. Die Badewanne mittig mag zunächst lustig erscheinen, ist aber völlig unnütz. Wir waren am 1. Tag ( 2 Übernachtungen) die einzigen Gäste und haben das Abendessen sowie Frühstück in Anspruch genommen, vor allem, weil in dem Dorf sonst nichts weiter gibt. Wie bei einigen Kommentaren vorher: überteuert, insbesondere das Frühstück. Da Gratteri ein sehr überschaubares Dorf ist und man zu Fuß in einer Stunde alles gesehen hat, würden wir dort nicht mehr hinfahren; auch deshalb, weil die „Straßen“ sehr eng waren, ebenso wie der Weg von unten nach oben.

Unique place with a lot of charm. Dinner is good and breakfast OK; everything a bit on the higher price range. Quality is better than hotel but not quite like Agriturismo. Just so you know: using the Jacuzzi associated with the place is extra and I feel with €50/hour very expensive.

Séjour sympa, accueil très avenant. Le spa est à réserver en avance avec une chambre. Un petit bémol sur le village : très compliqué d'accès en voiture avec des passages extrêmement étroits.

Lugar de montaña con mucho encanto y muy cuidado tanto la habitación como las zonas comunes. No conseguimos reservar la zona de spa, así q volveremos. La cena y desayuno, excelente. Para los q tienes sueno ligero las campanas de las iglesias de Gratteri suenan cada 15 min.

In diesem Haus kann man Sizilien wie ein Einheimischer erleben und geniessen. Die einheimische Küche ist jeden Tag in grosser Abwechslung präsent. Die Chefin und die Angestellten sind ausserordentlich zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind stilecht mit altem Mobiliar ausgestattet. Ein kleines Nebenhaus ist geschmackvoll in ein gemütliches SPA umgebaut. Wir fühlten uns richtig eingebettet im sizilianischen Bergdorf Gratteri. Das Haus war für uns eine "Trouvaille"; jedem, der es gern "einheimisch" haben möchte, zu empfehlen.

Magiskt ställe och ännu bättre mat!

Bara tre rum på detta fantastiska ställe. Inte ett ord engelska men det höjde bara charmen. Fantastisk mat! Ni bara måste äta här. Frukost lika fin, framdukad på bordet. Vi äter inte bröd men det var inga problem att få ägg vid förfrågan. Inte en människa eller bil som väsnas, bara ljudet av fågelkvitter och ett och annat får som går förbi. Underbart!

Mysig bergsby!

Jag bodde i spa sviten. Mycket mysigt! Ta den kan inget gå fel! Men väldigt knepigt att hitta dit. Du kommer tro att du åkt fel flera ggr. Men det är klart värt det! Kommer åka tillbaka det var den bästa tiden på Sicilien när jag bodde på detta hotell. Lugnt och skönt.

Exellent , rien avoir avec un hotel traditionel

Un lieu perché sur une falaise, un village d'une beauté et d'un calme....couronne par un service digne d'un major d'homme qui est au petit soins avec ses hôtes. Surtout la très bonne cuisine et la gentillesse de Serafino. A recommander ABSOLUMENT !
