I had a great time at the Daydream Hostel. The location is optimal, and the space itself is quite cute—especially the upstairs veranda. While I’m pretty socially comfortable and outspoken, hostels can a) sometimes get a bit cliquey and b) expose you to discordant living situations, with this one being no different. The team, however, was largely great at welcoming you into the fold. Liv and the rest of the staff were truly lovely. Jess especially stood out as a characteristically humorous and hospitable individual—this world needs more of her open-hearted kindness! Thanks all:)

Check in was easy. But the Vibe here is strange. I was in a room where at least three staff members were sleeping. Inwas asked on the first day if I wanted to join a "special dinner" for €10 made by one of the workers. After seeing the kitchen I couldn't have brought myself to eat anything cooked in there.
