Bates motel vibes

Manager is rude. And was beating on my door to move my vehicle cause he didnt like where it was parked. The beds are hard as bricks and way over priced

It was the worst place Ive ever had the displeasure of staying. Staff cussed at me for checking in, thew around racial comments, mocked me for inquiring about ice and clean towels, room was visibly dirty. Dont waste your time here.

Very dirty

Terrible experience. Should have viewed the room before we agreed to stay. So dirty we couldn’t even stay there. Tried to return our key and found out he had already deactivated them.

This property does not honor online reservations thru any third party, like Expedia or hotels.com. The images are nothing like the rooms at all, so much so it is false advertisement. The front office is not helpful at all. The rooms are dirty and in terrible shape.

Was told “I canceled your booking!” Upon arrival, property manager told me that my reservation was canceled. I don’t have queen size beds and Expedia knows that. After listening to him rant and use racial slurs, I was charged for a king room at another 25$. Stayed here on two separate occasions and both times was not worth the money. Very unprofessional management and I will be staying 30 miles elsewhere just to drive 2 blocks from this motel to work.

Mediocre at best

It was a room with a ved, tv and a tub. Thats about the best i can say. There were old dead crickets in the tub, and some still alive in the tub. There was no soap, shampoo, any toiletries at all in the room. Only a half a roll of toilet paper. I wish they would have left at least a cup in the room so i didnt have to drive 5 miles to buy a bottle of water. I will not be staying here again.

Get it together

I booked online through hotels.com. received multiple messages from OYO through hotels.com confirming the upcoming stay, welcoming, etc. 3 hours of driving, and I show up to a sign that says "sorry, no rooms, no water." I knocked and rang the doorbell, a man came to the door and pointed, I pointed to my phone. He opened the door, proceeded to yell at me, ask if I knew how to read, etc. I explained my online booking and he said he hasn't taken bookings in over a month. I get it, his business is seriously suffering, but he yelled at me and told me to deal with whoever I booked it through and shut the door on me. He even tried to deny that I even booked online at first. So, I headed into town, and was on the phone with hotels.com for 2 hours and they couldn't seem to understand why, after multiple attempts, no one was answering the phone at the hotel (because it was closed). I eventually was issued a refund, and found another place to stay. But what's disappointing is that I was yelled at, and he seemed super pissed he was inconvenienced. I get losing money, and having to explain over and over again, but he could have handled it better, and perhaps he needs to double check with his contractors to ensure bookings don't occur while closed. Because my money was taken weeks prior and I received several confirmation messages, only to show up to an absolute awful person.

They charged my card for a room on May 16. When my guys got there a not on the door said building closed pipes broke Jan 2. If that was the case they should not have charged my credit card ahead of time as they would have known building closed. On May 19 no credit yet. Don’t stay it has to be a scam.

No HOT water

Operator is friendly. However, bed was hard and absolutely no HOT water. A/C-heater is directly over the head of the bed. Unit worked intermittently. If full, there would not be enough parking. Located really close to lake and several sports/fishing shops for those there for fishing.

Don't stay here

The person at the desk was very rude and didnt like it because I booked online. He stated that if I ever wanted stay there again and booked online he would rent me a room. Needless to say that was just the first part. The room had no lamps kr plug ends close to the bed, there was no remote for the tv and the shower was very dirty.

What you pay is what you get.

What you pay is what you get. This hotel is cheap but it's not fancy at all. Cleaning was not good, one of the towels have a visible yellow spots, some hair in the same towel, long hair, I have really short hair so wasn't mine. Also I found gray long hair on the bed sheets, my hair is blonde, big ass fridge with big spots of corrosion, they can at the least used a $4.00 can of spray paint to disguise the problem. Everything else was ok. Not planning to come back here.

It was, just barely ok

Well, I’m not going to slam this place, it’s kids, you get what u pay for things. But, I will say I was disappointed. First the refrigerator in our room was DIRTY, inside and out. Secondly, I was supposed to have a queen bed, only got a full size. Lastly, we had a shower only, no bath tub.

No one would answer bell before 11am. Rooms were filthy when we got there. Towels & wash clothes were dirty hanging up to be used. I went and bought towels for our use. No coffee pots in rooms after I called to ask and was told yes they had them. Manager used key to come in room as I told him my daughter in law was in the shower. He kept coming in luckily she was out and dressed. I will never stay at another OYO Hotel due to this experience. No parking could only have one vehicle per room
