We stayed with our Australien shepherd for 3 nights. It was a really good place to stay but not really prepared to host a Dog there. The Stairs to reach the top level were really steep and none of us (we are both 1,67m tall) could stand upright in the sleeping area. The AC is a little moody so if heating up its sauna upstairs and still cold downstairs. Still we liked it there and would stay again

It’s OK. Nothing more, nothing less.

The rooms were clean and functional, Beds were fine but not easy to access on a mezzanine level. But a mediocre location- it is a good way out of Gothenburg. There is a bus stop 400m away that goes into the city, and a tram stop 800m away. Otherwise it is taxi.

We had a very nice two night stay at the Waterside Cabins. It was impeccably clean, very quiet, well equipped and super comfortable beds! Public transport into Gothenburg and out to the islands was very easy. We hopped about all over the place on buses, trams and ferries and had a really great stay. We would return! Thankyou! We really enjoyed our stay! The room was nice, spacious, and clean. We also enjoyed the view of the water city from the loft bed. The hotel is not super central, but that's to be expected given how affordable it is. There's a nearby tram station, so getting to the city is easy.

We had a great stay! The location was OK for our purpose, just a few minutes by bus to the city centre. It's brand new. Nothing fancy, but it has everything you need at a great price. Good size rooms, warm, friendly staff. Will stay here again!

I would definitely recommend staying here, our apartment was extremely comfortable with everything you would need. I wasn't sure if the area was a good pick to start with, however public transport is constant with only a few minutes wait at any time and only one stop before entering the main area of Gothenburg so ideally located.

Okay stay

Overall a nice stay. We stayed in a townhouse. Please bear in mind that the stairs are very steep. Pots could have done with a better clean but the shower was powerful and the bed was comfy.

We had an amazing stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit, taking time to answer our questions and help us navigate local transport. A special surprise was being upgraded to a larger room, it was such a lovely gesture, especially as we were celebrating our 10-year anniversary (which the hotel didn’t know about!). This was a meaningful trip for us, as our first holiday together was in Malmö, Sweden, and now 10 years later, we chose to return to Sweden to visit Gothenburg. Thanks to the amazing hospitality at Waterfront Cabins, this trip felt like a perfect full-circle moment. Gothenburg itself is a beautiful city, but it was the kindness of the people that truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend! Thank you to all the staff, we will be sure to stay here again if we ever visit Gothenburg in the future!

Great accommodation with magnificent views.

Visiting Gothenburg with my 2 daughters. Accommodation was an excellent choice. The furniture and layout was great, beautiful decoration and gave everyone plenty of space. And the view of the city was amazing. However, the sofa was not very comfortable to sit on and too small to use as an adult bed. Also, was cold downstairs and very hot upstairs when the heating was on, as the hot air rises. Could do with an extra radiator/ heater for down stairs.

The apartment is very clean. The walls are quite thin and the fan sounds a lot from the ceiling. It is not really like the pictures, but similar. Not the cosy vibes but good. When I came the room didn’t have any linens or towels. But I was compensated with breakfast and the staff were wonderful. Overall a good stay!

It was very easy to book for a group of people, the communication was easy and always responsive to questions. The building is completely new, built in a sustainable way, on the coast. It smells wood everywhere. You can find in the accommodation everything what you usually have at home in the kitchen starting from forks rounding up with the vacuum cleaner. It was very clean and all family members had electronic keys on mobiles, very practical
