It is located in Mountain Village, which is a thousand feet above the town of Telluride; tucked in an alpine glen with several other hotels, restaurants, and upscale shopping. Access to the town of Telluride is best done using the free tram which departs from a couple of points within Mountain Village, stops at the top of the hill where you can get off and hike or just take in the scenery, and then descends to the town of Telluride itself. ...

"Felt similar to staying in a dorm room. No decorations hardly. Blank slate room. Bathroom heater didn’t work. Cob webs in corners. Hot water intermittent. Front desk was very nice though. "
