"The hotel was located just a few minutes from the beach which was very convenient. The hotel itself did show its age. The hotel ran out of towels for the outdoor pool and also no towels for the hot tub. As far as the free breakfast don’t expect too much. Only thing I enjoyed was the waffle maker."

"We booked a kitchenette. The unit we got had the bare essentials (a heat plate with limited cookware and cutlery and no stove). Our travel companions paid $20 less per night for an actual kitchette, with a balcony beside the pool, as well as an actual stove."

"You don't stay here for the rooms. You stay for the proximity to the sandy beach so if you are looking for nothing more than a place to rest your head after a long day of activities then do it. If you are looking for anything more.....there are lots of options near the beach. We will try one of those next time."

"We had a great experience at Empire Motel. The room was very clean and well maintained. The kitchenette was very helpful and includes everithing you need, from towels to pots and pans. We really enjoyed the heated pool and took advantage of the bbq area. The pillows were a bit too tall and hard for our taste, however, I'm sure they would've replace them if we would've asked."

"Property has deteriorated significantly and needs lots of repairs. We have travelled to this location for many years but this is the last time we book here. Renovations are needed everywhere and not worth the high cost of each night. Breakfast was very very limited. There used to be better selection and now there isn’t much to choose from specially if you don’t eat pork. I would suggest bringing pastries and yogurt as an additional option. The worst is it feels like there such a limited amount...
