"Friendly and easy check in. Room was perfect for my needs. Slept well. Room clean and bed comfy. It surprised me how quiet it was at night. Took Winnie on her dog walk out of the grounds and wandered to see Chasewater. I have no hesitation in recommending staying here. "

"Tidy older hotel. Night stand was very dusty, so I’m not sure when our room as used last. Shower was fantastic, warning for the hot water should not be ignored! This was a convenient walk into town. "

"We were in Lichfield for a short break the George Hotel is right in the centre of the City the staff were friendly & helpful the hotel is clean and tidy. There is a private car park and I would recommend a stay here."

"A very pleasant stay - stayed for a couple of nights whilst working in the area. All staff were very pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a very quiet area with lots of scenic countryside around to see. Just be aware that the rooms are on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs for access, but that is to be expected with a listed building."
