"There are places you can stay and wonder if they are worth the cost. Rest assured this isn't one of them. Isolated, quiet and rural with a spectacular location in the North Wales countryside. Lack of light pollution makes the night sky amazing in the hot tub. The host is wonderful and the place is top drawer. "The Wild Pheasant hotel is in an attractive building set well back from the road. It has ample parking. Our room was very quiet. It had very comfortable beds and a great shower. The food in the restaurant was excellent and our continental breakfast was adequate. The menu for a cooked breakfast was very ample. All the staff we met we're delightful, chatty and helpful"

However lunch was excellent in respect of food and service, There was some noise from the bar and lounge area in the late evening which disturbed some of our sleep and we were astounded to see a bible had been thrown on a roof overlooking reception.łmnh"

"Beautiful location, lovely village and park across the road. Very safe for children to walk around the village. Though mine just stayed in the park. The staff at this hotel are very well mannered, attentive and successful in what they do regardless of obvious pressures. A bit disappointed there wasn't any danishes available before breakfast had finished at the early time of 930am. Plenty of cereals, toast and jams with plenty of coffee that you can takeaway"

"The hotel was great. The family room was spacious and more than suitable for a family of 4. The pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were easy to access and a nice activity for the family ( children only able to access pool but the rest were a nice respite for mum.) The children were also excited to receive a certificate from the staff for good swimming. There is a Starbucks on site which is handy during a busy day. The bar/restaraunt was convenient but a bit pricey for pub grub, but there are other options in the surrounding are suitable for families. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good choice of breakfast and staff were cheerfull and helpful. We had a good stay."
