Pacific Hotel Cairns
10/10 Excellent
"The room was super clean and had a great view of the Cairns 150th anniversary parade"
Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns
8/10 Good
"We loved the central position to everything in Cairns, plus a beautiful view. Rooms very clean and fresh. Thought the hotel was dated and the swimming pool and surrounds need updating. More lifts are needed in hotel, such a very long walk to our room from lifts. But as said, the best position in Cairns."
Fitzroy Island Resort
8/10 Good
"This resort was an awesome place to stay for a week of relaxation and exploration of the surrounding reef and island. There was enough to do for a six day stay. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful (Sadie, Lucy & Ariel in particular). The resort is a bit run-down in places however and the limited food options at Foxy’s Bar get tired after a few days. But that’s a small price to pay for the beautiful surrounds and dinner at Zephyr’s was lovely. The only low spot was hearing about, and then also being subjected to, one staff member’s officious manner. It wasn’t necessary to speak to guests rudely and that doesn’t reflect well on the resort and all the good people who work there. I was told this was the general manager but it’s hard to believe a general manager would lead his staff in that manner…"

"Amazing location and super friendly staff. A little piece of heaven"
Blue Summit Hideaway
10/10 Excellent
"Great spot, close to everything"
The Canopy Rainforest Treehouses and Wildlife Sanctuary
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely treehouse in the forest. No WiFi in cabins can go short walk to reception to use. Our tv didn’t work but that no real hassle. Would have liked a compendium for brief explanation of how things work. Was a great experience to sit and feed the birds and we saw cassowaries. Karen ( relief managers ) was lovely and very helpful"
Bramston Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"This is a hidden gem, don't expect all the glitz and glamour of a 5 star resort , but for peace and tranquillity, it's location to one of the most pristine beaches in FNQ , this is the place"
Lakes Edge Retreat
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing stay, fantastic location. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and idyllic to unwind and relax this is it, this incredible well appointed appartment offers stunning views while still being close enough to Yungarra Village to access all of the cute shops to wander and yummy food to sit and enjoy or take back home to cook. Nothing was a bother everything was restocked as requested by the lovely staff. We will be back for sure."
