Friendly activities staff made sure we were welcomed and helped plan a great experience.
The room was lovely, staff were very helpful. The location is stunning! I liked that the hotel blended in with the surroundings: dark wood and sandy coloured marble/ stone.

Breakfast buffet was great, rooms are a little dated.
We had an amazing time at the Fitzroy Island Resort! At every point - from the reception desk, to the wait staff, to the activities personnel, the staff was kind and helpful. The location itself could not be more beautiful. I'd highly recommend staying here.
Very big room with cooking equipment, washing machines etc. Food and drink at the bar is better and with reasonable price. There is a path near the level 2 to the summit, so people who stays at resort can use card to access and use the path.
Really enjoyed the over night stay in the island. The cleanness and spacious of the room is far exceed our expectations. The easy access to the beach is just exceptional. Wish we could stay one more night.

Room spotless and staff were great. Very helpful. Amenities were excellent. Only disappointment was the breakfast.
Loved the remote location, that it is just a resort on an island with lots to do and also ample time to relax. Loved the cocktail list, especially the tropical mojitos.
It's a lovely island with snorkelling right off the beach and some enjoyable walks and views. The cheaper eating place (Foxy's) still has high quality food and the staff are amazing there and at the resort. The expensive restaurant (Zephyrs) has a minimum spend of $60 per person which seems a shame as it is in a lovely and convenient position but isn't so popular.

The island is amazing for a few days away. A little makeover of the rooms and some comfortable bedding would make Fitzroy Island Resort a must do destination. Staff are brilliant.
The location was amazing, snorkelling the reef, hiking the tracks and relaxing in the sun. The staff were amazing !

Staff was great. Beautiful location.
Great amenities.
Did find that hotel services lacked. Room not cleaned properly. Only received milk for tea twice. Lucky brought over some long life milk of our own.
Complaints not taken seriously. Especially for our long stay.
Best time I had in a very long time. Relax a lot time spent in the water and and hiking. Some people said 2 days is enough. I stay almost a week and was uncreadible

Very relaxing and peaceful,
Snorkeling, swimming just on your doorstep.
Loads of fish and a surprise turtle snorkel amongst you.
Easy snorkelling off the front beach. Comfortable bed and quiet resort at night. Reception staff super helpful and lovely. Restaurant dining, especially dinner, was excellent quality. Average coffee. Restaurant staff didn’t have great customer service.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Hotel desperately need an update on all amenities. The rooms are dated and old. Everything is just a bit run down. The pool bar is screaming for help. I went to order a drink and took one look at the ice machine and said no mould to that mould infestation. The staff look and act as unmotivated as the dated amenities. The only real cafe serves C grade deep fried food. It’s incredibly disappointing. The hotel is nice enough to create a relaxing vibe and the location is a 10! Right on the water. So nice waking up to the sound of the ocean. But yeh overall that hotel is a 3 star at most.
Beautiful resort, nice walking/hiking trails, great snorkeling ( saw tons of marine life). Good food at cafe and restaurant. Great tour options from there

The resort has everything you need without feeling too much like a resort. Dinner at foxys and zephyr were great and staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent for a short break from cairns. Snorkelling from the beach was a highlight. Recommend bringing some food over for a picnic though
Very relaxing, we could feel our stress and worries fade away. Would definitely go back one day. Absolutely stunning place to unwind and enjoy the beauty that nature offers!
