Just off the coast of Lombok and near to Bali you'll find the Gili Islands: Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air.
Gili Trawangan (Gili T) is the busiest and largest of the three, and is becoming known as the 'party' island. Whilst it does have a great nightlife, there are also some awesome snorkelling spots (turtle point), boat trips and fishing, and stunning sunsets (check out Exile Bar for real chilled sunset vibes). There are no motor vehicles on the islands, only a very few electric scooters, bicycles and horse and cart. #LifeAtExpedia #packsandaplan

This is the more secluded part of Gili Trawagan, Indonesia. Other than by foot, the only other mode of transportation allowed on the island are horse drawn carts and bicycles--bikes do not travel so well in sand.
