Dejligt hotel

Rigtig dejligt hotel lige ved stranden. Der er 10-15 minutters gang til færgen. Fin pool og god restaurant.

My first night the power went out in my villa. It stayed off until I told someone about it the next day. They couldn't get it to work so they moved me villas. I asked for a ticket to take a boat back to Bali. They told me it would be a 2 hour ride and it is not the ferry. It was the ferry and it was a 4 hour ride. Not to mention the WiFi is absolutely awful. a phone call is impossible at this location. I walked down the beach to a cafe and they had better service!

Das Zimmer mit eigenem Pool und Massagedüsen war perfekt,wurde täglich sauber gemacht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super lecker und sehr reichhaltig. Man hat beim Frühstücken Blick auf das Meer. Von den Strandliegen aus kann man tolle Sonnenuntergänge sehen.

I really wanted to like this place.... the value for money is just not there compared to other places on the Gilis. The staff tried to be helpful, but the service was overall slow and disorganized. The restaurant is very overpriced and again the service wasn’t great. The pictures are very deceiving and the room was definitely less than clean. Stayed in a pool villa which was nice but again, the pool wasn’t clean. There are a couple of really great restaurants and bars just up the way that make up for it. Overall I would not stay there again.

Incredible location, right on the beach. Restaurant was brilliant, with a great variety of foods to choose from. Villas were lovely. Relatively basic accommodation but on a tiny island and for the price we paid we couldn't have asked for anything more. Would definitely recommend and return.

In general, the service was not up to par to other places we stayed despite being the most expensive place we stayed. For example, we had staff calling us at 10 pm and waking us up over menial things. Private Pool was nice until it turned green and staff tried to blame us for putting do not disturb when in fact the pump did not turn on. Multiple power outages in the middle of the night causing the air conditioning unit to turn off. Air conditioning unit beeped in the middle of the night like a fire alarm with no way to turn off. Also, full of dead cockroaches. Minimal hot water. Restaurant was over priced and food was not cooked properly (steak and fish were raw). Do not eat at the restaurant for the fire dance. They upcharge food for the event fire and dancers were hotel staff in jeans dancing to contemporary music. Do not rent anything from the stand on the property. Walk 10 more feet and rent for 2/3 the price and much higher quality. Biggest perk= Two Brothers Restaurant next door. Excellent service, excellent food, and high speed WiFi.

Strand und Unterkunft schön! Leider haben wir bei der Abreise ein Gemälde im Zimmer liegen gelassen - nach dem Auschecken (circa 1 Std. später) direkt dort angerufen, um es abzuholen, doch das Gemälde war nicht mehr auffindbar. Enttäuschend!!! Sind von anderen Hotels besseres gewohnt! Normalerweise verschwindet so etwas nicht! Wir hoffen jemand anderes hat Spaß es aufzuhängen.

Conforme au descriptif

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits et tout s est très bien passé. La villa avec piscine privée est top! Les équipes sont disponibles. La chambre est petite quand deux valises sont ouvertes peu de circulation possible

Un hôtel de qualité dans un site paradisiaque

L’hôtel AVIA Resort offre une prestation de bon niveau dans un cadre idyllique. L’option villa et sa piscine privée est vraiment de qualité. Son positionnement face à la mer sur une plage face à l’ouest permet de bénéficier de magnifiques couchés de soleil... Le personnel de l’hôtel est avenant et serviable. Les îles Gili en particulier Meno et Air restent encore préservées du tourisme de masse, contrairement à Trawangan qui draine un flux qui devient difficile à supporter. Cela crée d’ailleurs un désagrément sonore quotidien de 23h00 à plus de 3h00 du matin avec une musique électronique qui s’entend très distinctement jusqu’à l’hôtel !!! Rajouté à cela le doux chant du muezzin à 5h00 du matin... ceux qui ont le sommeil léger risque d’en souffrir... La restauration (petit déjeuner intégré dans le prix) est proposée par un café quasiment intégré à l’hôtel. Bien que la qualité des mets soit globalement satisfaisante, le niveau de la prestation (service, hygiène, lenteur, ruptures...) laisse vraiment à désirer... Mais pour des vacances et vis-à-vis du reste, on s’y adapte... Dernier point, les amateurs de plongée et snorkeling, trouverons ici leur paradis !!! Petit conseil, adressez vous au centre de plongée « Gili Meno divers » (affilié SSI) pour un programme de plongée aux petits oignons. Au final je conseille donc cet hôtel pour découvrir les îles Gili...

Der Service war extrem schwach, da besteht Handlungsbedarf. Das Frühstück ist leider mehr als schwach. Der Pool in der Poolvilla war toll. Leider kam am letzten Tag, in die angrenzende grosse Villa, Italiener und die Kinder schrien und tobten über Stunden. Was die umliegenden Villen leider auch mitanhören mussten... Ansonsten wirklich Top Lage!

Leider sah das Resort auf den Fotos etwas luxuriöser aus, als es dann in echt war. Das Restaurant bietet nur wenig Auswahl. Das Essen war okay. Die Angestellten am Empfang waren sehr nett und freundlich, doch besonders im Restaurant wurde man des Öfteren von Tisch-Abräumern angesprochen und zu Gambling eingeladen. War am Anfang lustig, dann nur noch nervig. Der Strandabschnitt ist schön und auch der Pool ist nett. Das Zimmer war nicht sonderlich groß, aber es hat alles gepasst. Preislich meiner Meinung nach etwas zu hoch. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es auf Meno und links und rechts vom Resort absolut nichts gibt - uns war nach zwei Tagen etwas langweilig, weshalb wir früher abgereist sind. Das hatte aber nichts mit dem Resort zu tun, sondern damit, dass wir nicht die Personen sind, die eine Woche am Strand liegen können - wir wollten etwas erleben und erkunden. Zum Resort gibt es nicht viel negatives, es hat einfach nur nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen entsprochen.

No wifi - no drinking water - nice staff

Overall a nice stay with a perfect remote location. The beds could use an upgrade and we did not manage to connect to the wifi at all during our 4 days. The excuse was that we where on a small Island, but the small and cheap resort next door, had flawless connection. Furthermore they did nor refill the drinking water - when you are at a remote location like avia, the only place to buy water is at the restaurant. This is NOT ok for a four Star resort. The staff was kind and understanding, but the management is for sure the problem. I talked to a french guy who the staff told was the owner, but he denied to have anything to do with the managment;-)

Nice hotel in a peaceful area of Gili Meno. I would recommend this hotel if you want to relax. The beach in front of the hotel is not ideal to swim but the nearby beach is good for swimming and snorkeling.

Rustic hotel in Gili Meno

We stayed in the suite with private pool for 5 days. The room was rather small, but the surroundings and the charm of Gili Meno very much made up for it as we rarely stayed in our room during the day. It was obvious to us that the hotel was still recovering from the recent earthquakes as there were constructions going on around the property. However, the contruction noise and activities did not affect us too much. We ate almost all of our meals in Gili Cafe, the only restaurant in the hotel. The food was good and in our opinion, better than most cafes and warungs on the island. The beach in front of the resort was clean, quiet, and had plenty of loungers during the day. Snorkeling hotspots, however, were quite far away from the hotel. We had to walk about 15-20 minutes up north, near Mahamaya or Seri, for snorkeling. The hotel staff was friendly and always catered for our need upon request. There were small hiccups, which I don't think were hotel's faults, like intermittent power, internet, and water outages during our stay.

Idealne miejsce na wypoczynek

Jeżeli masz dosyć tłumów i chcesz odpocząć to jest idealne miejsce. Przy samej plaży (anu wejść do można przydane mogą byc specjalne buty) z leżakami gdzie można znaleźć cień pod drzewami, obok basen. Dobra restauracja wieczorami oferująca również świeże dania z grilla. Super personel, chętny do pomocy i zorganizowania wycieczki.
