"Room has been upgraded with a new mattress, and wallpaper that looked like it had been installed by an amateur! A complete mess! Toilet seat was hanging off the bowl, you couldn’t sit on it without it hurling you sideways! Soap? Well that was dispensed in 2 tiny packets Shower - held 7’ in the air just the head no slider.. 18” above the shower screen? Bathroom was freezing due to a duct in the ceiling that let cold air in - and removed any warm air that we circulated in there via a sliding...

"The owner welcomed us and explained all the details. The room was a little cramped with 4 and unfortunately very hot, but beds were very comforable and plenty of bedding and fresh towels provided, as well as helpful simple little extras such as shower gel and tissues. I like that a poster politely asks that people save energy (helping to reduce their bills and therefore cost for customers) by switching off lights etc. when leaving the room. "Location is amazing with the possibility to for a great walk along the banks of the Loiret for outside the hotel. Really memorable. Bedroom and bathroom cosy, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is charming a restored "Guingette" and even out of season a great spot to stop over. The owner's wine cellar is stellar. Star were accommodating. Food was pleasant and breakfast good too. We would recommend and will be back!"
