4 star staff in a 3 star hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaints i have is that this hotel dosent look or feel like a 4 star hotel. The staff and the service and attention they gave were 4 star but the hotel is maybe a 3 star.

Great Hotel, shame about the guests!

The stay at the hotel was good. However there was a coach trip from Germany and some of those guests were very rude which affected our visit. It was a great shame. The hotel staff did a great job in trying to handle them.,

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) with half board €39. Its not clear when you book that this doesnt include the children. You have to pay extra for them which is surely a nonsense, why would the booking system assume we wouldnt feed the children. There are good fscilities for the kids, tennis, ping pong etc. Breakfast was shambolic with lots of things running out and the area being too small to cope with the number of families. Overall it was a nice stay.

Rooms are not worth 4 stars, no value for money

Novotel usually stands for consistent quality although without any fantasy. This one is an exception for the worse. Our "superior" room was dated, painted dark green and depressive without sufficient lighting and a view on a deteriorated parking lot. Rain shower was broken, no coffee in the room (only tea). Absolutely the worst value for money in my past 10 years of hotel experience. I assume the only reason why they have 4 stars is because of the swimming pool and the restaurant which probably has a good chef but poor staff (food was good quality but not served warm). There was a smell of waste bins in the garden and from the two EV charging points, one was completely broken down and unusable (the other being occupied continously). Staff was very helpful but absolutely junior both at the reception and in the restaurant.

Des toiles d’araignée dans la chambre, des poissons d’argent sur le sol des toilettes, des taches sur les draps… En plus de cela, le canapé-lit n’est pas super confortable et le lit est trop haut je trouve… Cela ne tient qu’à moi mais la moquette dans la chambre si le ménage laisse autant à désirer… ce n’est pas la peine !!! Les allergies sont fréquentes ! Bref… vraiment pas satisfaisant à mon goût…

Hôtel dans lequel je vais très très souvent mais hélas dès que je réserve via l’application on me donne systématiquement une chambre PMR et surtout celle qui est la plus bruyante à côté des wc de la terrasse ou les gens discutent et boivent un verre. C’est dommage car je trouve que cela ne respecte pas le client.

Accueil très amical

Séjour en groupe avec de très nombreux enfants, très bon accueil du personnel. Les enfants ont adoré la salle de jeux et les adultes le salon privé pour la soirée. Emplacement calme et pratique à 10 min du centre-ville d’Orléans
