"I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

"Loved this no frills historic hotel. No fuss - just texted me door code to the room, which was all in perfect order. The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. Great work by the hotel owners - shows you can run an historic hotel in a great location but still make it affordable to all visitors"

"Great little hotel right in the centre, excellent staff who were very friendly and helpful!"

"The hotel is situated on the A299 about 5 miles from Ramsgate. Although on a very busy road the room was quiet and very comfortable. Check in was from 2pm and we arrived just before then. We were greeted warmly by the reception staffand check in was fast and efficient. Slight issue was that we had requested a twin room and were given a doulble but they changed the room immediately and without question. The room was very comfortable and we were at the back of the hotel so had a view over fields...

"Very good stay at the Royal Albion. Very nice room recently redecorated. Good WiFi. Kettle and pod coffee machine. Lots of supplies for using these - coffee pods, tea bags and coffee bags. Very good bathroom with bath. We had a view over the high street in Broadstairs. Breakfast good - main hot dish and buffet dishes. We ate at the Royal Albion in the evening and had a very good meal."

"We stopped here for a Spitfires game for our young fella and to be honest wasn’t expecting much - but we were incredibly pleasantly surprised!! This place is exceptional, easy to find, easy to access and staff instructions were friendly and easy to follow. This is a great stay! "
