"Stayed for three nights over Xmas. The walk from the pub to the accommodation was across a muddy unpaved carpark. Access to the room was via a combination door lock and privacy in the room afforded by blinds at the door ,room windows. Unfortunately there was no internal lock on the door and gaps in the blinds afforded a view into the room from outside. The room was cold on arrival and took hours to warm up. The lodge 2 was perfect for our needs as we were staying for a wedding and needed space with a kitchen for 6 days which was helpful with saving time and money. We could dine in when needed. "Good location in Rye and we managed to utilise the hotel parking. However, the building and the bedrooms need some money spent on them, for general maintenance and updating (and fixing the rooms). The single staff member we saw was great but wouldn't hurt for them to have extra help in peak check-in and breakfast times."

Only thing’s needs to be worked on , Our lovely modern room had nowhere to sit & dry your hair .. Only needs a mirror . No draws to put cloths in , only four coat hangers . No shower gel or shampoo. Just a bit of hand gel at the bottom of a dispenser. Just things you tend to expect. The pub is well situated, locals very friendly. Lots of things to do in the area."
