"Great location for us."

"My initial impression of sonesta was not a great one. Parking was confusing and not clear on the website. When we entered the lobby there was a line of people waiting for a rep to reach the desk. They claim to be waiting up to 10 minutes. It was only one front desk associate in one valet person available. So there was a wait time in the lobby walking to our room was kind of like a maze as the hallway zigzag most of the time we were at the end of the hallway. The rugs in the hallway had rolls in them (popping up front rh floor board. I would not suggest someone who uses a walker or a cane to walk the hallway of sonesta. I was aware that there was no breakfast. And was prepared to eat out. The restaurant attached to the hotel was just as bad as the front desk experience. I did have a interaction with another my desk was associate and it was plain no real customer service provided throughout this day from the two front desk associates I interacted with. There was a man maybe maintenance that did provide customer service and was polite. We visit Baltimore often and this sonesta location would not be my first choice. Overall pricing was okay the room was clean housekeeping was polite. 3.5 stars"

"Bed had not bed turned over for next guest “sheets dirty” room smelled of weed. I requested to move, the next 2 rooms that were shown to me weren’t any better. He wound up giving me new sheets and I remade the bed myself. I’ve seen this before, but at least they remade the bed for me. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY AT LA QUINTA INN SARATOGA ST! "

"Look, my bar for hotels is low. If the door has a lock and the room doesn't actively smell like a haunted dumpster, I’m usually good. But this place? This place looked at my bar, laughed, and buried it near the Earth's core. First of all, the floor. It had a solid, wall-to-wall coating of grease. I didn’t walk to the bathroom, I *glided*. It was like housekeeping decided to mop with leftover fry oil from an Arby's. The decor was breathtaking, assuming your aesthetic is "Cigarette Burn Chic." And let's talk about the accent wall! It featured a stunning abstract mural of mysterious liquid stains. Is it coffee? Is it blood? Is it a vintage Mountain Dew Code Red? Who knows! It's a fun little interactive mystery to solve while you pray for the sun to come up. For lighting, they went with a gorgeous, avant-garde installation: a single bulb dangling out of the ceiling socket by one exposed wire. Very *hostage chic*. Oh, and there was a desk, but no chair. Which honestly makes perfect sense, because when you're taking in this kind of ambiance, you really shouldn't be sitting down and letting your guard drop anyway. I am completely confident that not a single person who works at this hotel would ever consider staying the night here. The front desk manager is definitely sleeping in his 2004 Kia Sorento. Honestly, if you took *Saturday Night Fever*, but John Travolta was a sleep paralysis demon and the whole thing was filmed in the actual ninth circle of Hell... you’d have my room. Zero"

"Unfortunately this hotel was not as fancy as is described or I expected/wanted. The foyer is spectacular but the rooms are very basic & disappointing. Our room did not have a sofa chair or the bed ottoman bench. The bathroom was very outdated. Also there were people that lingered outside the hotel all day, everyday. The only thing that helped was the nice & friendly staff but definitely not worth the price especially with valet parking too. "

"The guest services line remained unavailable throughout my stay. There were lipstick stains on my sheets, that I had to request housekeeping to come change. There weren’t amenities available such as mouthwash and complimentary water. The hotel also does not include complimentary breakfast. Additionally, beware if you have the “best view” side facing the harbor, because it will be extremely noisy at night, with ongoing traffic, people partying outside, etc. Nothing was offered to us to make it right. Won’t be back."
