Hotel La Casa de Mama

"Honestly, Casa de la Mama was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! The hotel is beautiful and only about a 5-minute walk from the centro. It’s just two blocks away, and we actually enjoyed walking because the streets are so colorful and beautiful. Everyone who works there was super nice, respectful, and welcoming. The hospitality was amazing! They cleaned our room every single day and did a great job. The bed was comfortable, the shower had really hot water, and we had absolutely no complaints. They also offer airport pickup and drop-off at any time, which was a huge plus. One thing I definitely recommend is booking your Chiapas tours through the hotel. The prices were really good, and they picked us up and dropped us off right at the hotel. They even kept in touch with us through WhatsApp while we were out on our tours. They also offer laundry service for a really good price. They wash and fold everything for you, which is super convenient when you’re traveling. My advice: Don’t rent a car in Chiapas. Stay here, book your tours through them, and let them take care of everything! We truly enjoyed our stay, and the people there made our whole experience in Chiapas that much better. We would definitely stay here again without a second thought. 100% recommend Casa de la Mama if you’re visiting San Cristóbal de las Casas! 🇲🇽❤️"

"Beautiful, colonial style building and the staff were friendly. One issue is that there’s no elevator, but the staff are willing to help take the luggage up the stairs. Two, the hotel faces the plaza, which is scenic, but picks up a lot of nighttime noise. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be the best place for you. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend."

"El hotel es muy bonito, sencillo pero la verdad esta muy bien, la ubicación también es muy buena, tiene un buen estacionamiento subterraneo que siempre se agradece tener la opción de guardar el carro en un lugar seguro. Las habitaciones tienen lo necesario y están bien, se ven nuevas. Hay una zona de cuartos donde se escucha el ruido si otras personas van entrando a sus cuartos o bien si van platicando, TODO se escucha. El personal muy amable y te regalan cafecito y unos platanitos en la mañana lo cual también se agradece. Estoy muy contento con mi estancia, lo recomiendo ampliamente."
