"This gets a top rating due to the service & hospitality.
The hosts are ultra welcoming and friendly. And gave me some great tips on places to visit, including nearby scenic walks.
Plus Simon cooks a top English breakfast and Paula does a great job of keeping the place in order.
They allow dogs, although best to check with them before booking to make sure they will get on with their dogs ok.
The nearby road is noisy early morning, but only if you keep the window fully open."

"What an amazing place! Set in beautiful gardens and full of wildlife! Beautiful accommodation and so nice to be able to walk around all the gardens! The Japanese garden was our favourite! Also the cakes and coffee in the cafe are lovely! "

"Obwohl wir ein anderes Zimmer gebucht hatten, bekamen wir ein Barriere freies Rollstuhl Zimmer und Bad. Dort wurde bestimmt seit zwanzig Jahren nichts mehr erneuert. Der Geruch war fürchterlich. Da half auch der eingeschaltete Ventilator nichts. Das Hotel war überhaupt sehr alt und Renovierungsarbeiten bedürftig."

"The view is great. Apart from that, it looks “quirky but cute” online but in reality it’s just awkward and uncomfortable. The ceilings are low and sloped. The bunk beds are not suitable for teenagers do to the low ceiling and the mattresses are very uncomfortable. You have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the bunk room. The floors are uneven and there is an odd 1 inch step between the rooms which is just a trip hazard. The bathroom is clean but sparse, not even a box of tissues....

"The pool was lovely some tiles need work. Room looked new lovely and clean. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choices. Staff were all really nice, friendly and approachable. Lovely night would definitely stay again."

"Beautiful modern apartment close to the water and train station. A wonderful owner who helped us in every possible way. The only downside is that we expected at least a gas pump, as every time we travel, and we only found a microwave, it was sad. In addition, as an asthmatic, I had to clean up the dust myself, which clearly wasn't cleaned for a long time, because such amounts of dust are not even after a week. We couldn't sleep because I was suffocating all the first night until I cleaned up by myself around the bed . I highly recommend it, but it should be cleaned "
