"Rooms were fine, bathroom fairly dated. Staff really friendly and helpful. The breakfast option is just a $15 voucher for Le Pain Quotidien over the road, which will just about get you a croissant and a coffee, so don't pay more than that to add breakfast to your room. Bed comfy, room and shower were warm, aircon worked. Parking is just in local garages, which is a faff. The rooms were quite loud with noise from other guests and the road outside."

"Nice old hotel! Conveniently located to DC attractions. Lots of little breakfast/lunch places nearby and a CVS. Enjoyed our stay. Valet parking was steep at $69 a day. A few negatives....Too much furniture in small room. Refrigerator was filled with mini bar items and no room to put our food/drinks. We had an adjoining room so we could hear the conversations next door. Bathroom mirror was deep/really far away from the sink which made it difficult to apply make up, etc. Lighting also wasn't great in bathroom. "

"This was a fabulous hotel to stay in from the courteous staff to the location to the metro and walking distance to so many locations i would definitely stay here again. Great little market just a few steps away with coffee, breakfast and deli sandwiches. A Trader Joes around the corner for your snacks. "

"We booked two of the junior suites and had a lovely stay. Natasha at the front desk greeted us warmly and even offered us towels to dry off when we came in after a huge downpour. The taller gentlemen at the front desk was also helpful with checking in and making sure our stay was comfortable. Unfortunately one of our rooms wasn't ready at check in and was not ready until 7pm. There was a tornado warning which meant linen delivery was late but the manager kindly gave us 50 percent off our room for that first night. Both doormen were also fantastic. There was one women at the front desk who wasn't as nice and just seemed to be angry at the world. But overall excellent service at this hotel. Location was great. We were close to supermarkets and all the major monuments and museums. Trader Joe's and wholefoods are walking distances away. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Heating was a little too effective and got too hot for our liking so we just turned it off and kept it off during our stay. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to DC! "

"Great location, staff was the best! Room had ample space and a kitchette which we used during our 5 day stay. Had a delicious breakfast one morning in the hotel restaurant, staff was great there too. There is a Dunkin Donuts a block away that’s easy to access for coffee, etc. Would definitely stay here again! "

"The room was great, clean, and smelled nice. Breakfast was horrible. You could not get coffee without paying for the whole breakfast and the toast was literally frozen together in the bin and condiments were not kept full. I was charged for a full breakfast (for all members of the room even when no one ate) when I thought I was just grabbing coffee as some of the breakfast was inedible, so I did not eat at the hotel but was charged $100! I complained and they said they took it off but so far I do not see a reversal on my CC. For some reason every time I had to use wifi it made me log in over and over. It was annoying and overall, the internet was very slow. The keys as well needed to be reprogramed over and over for some reason... all 4 keys kept experiencing issues. Which was also annoying being that sometimes they would choose not to work in the elevator making us not being able to get off on the floor and riding up and down in the elevator until it finally opened on the ground floor again. This happened a few different times to both me and then my daughter separate from me, as well as my mom. I was wondering if I was going to need to call for help, but thankfully after a few rides, it opened to the ground floor where we recharged our key. lol We used the pull out and called the desk for extra pillows- they never came. Had to request them again the next night. We did get them. The room itself was big (two queens and a couch) and housecleaning did a nice job. "
