Adventure Lodges & Retreats
3/5 Okay
Bargain price but comes at a cost!
"If you want a no thrills family getaway then this is the place for you. The room was very basic with no amenities apart from 2 showers and a separate toilet with a wash basin which was located in the main room. The beds consisted of bunk style beds which were built into the walls and looked really cool if not very dusty. Bed linen was provided which was clean but the duvets and pillows could have been replaced as we're showing signs of age. It is advertised as having a cafe and a shop for buying essentials but we were there 3 days and didn't see it open once. So bring your own food and supplies. There is also nothing to cook with in the rooms so bring a camping cooked if you want to cook. If we had known the shop and the cafe wasn't open we would have prepared a bit more. We only paid £60 per night for the stay so it was cheap but the lack of any mod cons did t really warrant paying anymore. "
