"The location is great, very close to all the nice shops on Exeter street, just across from the Boston Public Library. The staff were excellent, very helpful and polite. Be aware the hotel is an older property and they have chosen to maintain the same esthetic, so it has that old school hotel vibe. Bed was super comfortable, A/C was very cold, liked the pillow, had bathrobes, ironing board and iron for guest use. Big bathroom with a tub."

The venue is central but overlooking an 8storey multi story car park and rather cramp rooms was not really value add. The suite on the other hand in higher floors were. "Great location in the Back Bay, close to Newbury Street. Rooms are clean but a bit dated. Great value since the hotels in the area are otherwise very pricey. They are very clear with their rules, obviously from lessons learned from previous guests. So if you are good following rules, this can be a good choice."

"The hotel was beautiful. The lack of a hotel bar and restaurant were hard to adjust to. We didn’t want to order in-room dining every time but we didn’t want to necessarily walk to get breakfast somewhere. The restaurants attached to the hotel were not open until later, definitely not for breakfast. So that was probably the ultimate letdown about the hotel.
