"You can't beat the view!!! The hotel is very charming in that old world hotel way. Expect older decor, tight spaces, well loved charm. That said it is well maintained and very clean, with modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Despite it being literally on top of the Trevi Fountain the noise level isn't as bad as you would think. The crowds do die down after 11pm, until 8am or so. With the windows and shutters closed it is very quiet at night. The view you see in the photo is from its private rooftop cafe/bar - worth a visit. The rooms have windows that open onto the fountain. The staff was really wonderful and pleasant. I'll be back!"

"Excellent location, shops and restaurants right on the doorstep with the Trevi Fountain steps away and lots more sights within easy walking distance. Staff were all great. Just the room that is a little dated and marked from the air con. Would definitely stay again "

"The location is fabulous, at the top of the Spanish Steps. The hotel is solid with a lot of quirky character due to its age. We stayed in the adjacent building. The room was very clean; the bathroom typical of Italy: small with a sink, toilet & bidet and a small corner shower and heated towel rack. The room heater worked well and there was a huge window opening to the busy steeet below although it was so high we couldn’t see out. Buffet breakfast was included and was plentiful and tasty with lots of choices. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. The one complaint is the hotel restaurant. Prices were high (8€ beer, 12€ glass of ordinary wine, 6€ tea) compared to other cafes & restaurants in Italy. And something we’ve never encountered in Italy was the demand for a tip by the waiter. He said if we wanted to pay by credit card we must include a tip. We watched his interaction with other patrons and his less-than friendly attitude was enough to turn away future patrons. Despite the restaurant experience we would definitely stay here again. "

"Breakfast was excellent! Staff was top-notch. We were there in March but it was already warm. Unfortunately, the A/C wasn’t on yet, so it was a bit warm but we made it work opening the windows although that let in some noise. "

"Hotel room was very nice with a good choice for breakfast, and when having an early start they prepared a breakfast pack. Our air conditioning wasn't working the first 2 nights but the staff sorted it after we let them know. The WiFi was a bit slow. "
