"Not a great breakfast selection. I had a banana and yogurt, but my husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The lobby looked nice. Very clean. We were traveling with our dog, and I assume we were in a "dog room." 224. The room was tired. Paint scraped up, bedding was old, old couch with terrible thin mattress. My son slept there. Every time he moved, it squeaked like crazy, and there were no extra pillows or blankets other than the light blanket that was folded up on it. We didnt realize that until very late when we were going to sleep. My real complaint was the mattress was terrible! SUPER firm!! OMG! My back was killing me. And the pillows were so flat! They looked ok, but had nothing to them, so my head went right down to the mattress. Not conducive to a good rest. On the upside, the air conditioner worked GREAT! Many hotels never allow you to really cool the room. This was fantastic!! All in all, probably would not stay here again, as there are multiple hotels nearby, but it wasnt dreadful. "

"From the room to the food everything was really good. We travel to Murray often and have stayed at several different places around town. Some advertised they have breakfast and it turned out to be some stale bagels and cereal or no breakfast at all. But this time I decided to spend a few dollars more and was pleasantly surprised. The fact that they offer a hot buffet style breakfast was worth the price alone and I ended up saving money on the long run. We will be back again soon! "

"The room was clean, but dated. The bed was pretty comfortable for a hotel. I did not use the air conditioner, a it was quite nice out, so can't really comment on it. The whole facility is quite nice on the whole, nice gift shop, good size restaurant for breakfast (unlike other places where there's often not enough space at peak breakfast time). The area is very scenic, and despite just stopping over on my way though, I took advantage of the nice walkway around the shore of the lake after breakfast. Breakfast was mediocre. The cooked food - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage - had no problems. The staff is awesome, there just wasn't a great variety. No waffles, here. Coffee was good, but no juice dispenser, just small sealed cups of orange juice. There was fresh cut fruit and yogurt. The had grits and biscuits, but that's not my thing and I didn't try. Although dated, the room was clean; no stains, no bugs, the shower works well, the sink area is nice. I would stay there again if I was passing through - a really nice stay compared to the typical name brand places, and at a comparable or better price. "

"It’s a clean property and easy to find. I love the room set up except for whoever thought it was a good idea to not have bathroom doors that block light. That’s a bigger Springhill problem though "

"Unfortunately, this hotel now caters to traveling sports teams. There were MANY unsupervised children running throughout the hotel (inside and out) and well into the night. The staff addressed our concerns by moving our stay to an upper floor where they were supposedly not staying. Wrong! These hoodlums ran, unsupervised, everywhere!! We loved staying here twice a year, but no more."
