A beautiful area, quiet but so close to the countryside

Best part of this hotel was the location. Grassmarket is a short walk to the old town which was perfect. Room was spacious, great view of the castle. Room was pretty clean upon arrival! The shower had a weird smell but it ended up going away after a day or so. Staff were very friendly! Good water pressure. Beds were super comfy as well.

Enjoyed this stay of 6 nights. Comfortable suite, convenient location, courteous and helpful staff. Loved the tea and coffee station as complementry. Would visit again. I highly recommend this property.

Welcoming
Eat early, we hoped to get a pub meal but they stopped serving at 8pm, leaving us with fish and chips in the car. It was fine for us though.
Supermarkets are killing the town
