The two outstanding problems with this hotel are (1) access by public transportation is very limited, forcing the guests to hire a taxi to convenient nearby train stations such as Tokorozawa station costing 2,400-2,600 yen each way, and (2) the breakfast purchased optionally is practically the same throughout your stay—three different kinds of sandwiches. "I booked a smoking room and I got a smoking room. The air cleaner in the room works great and the room is bigger than normal JR hotels. Everything is nice about the hotel. I have been staying in JR East hotel Mets for sometime now and I am beginning to get hooked to it.
If I were to nitpick, I do need to carry my luggage up a few steps twice to get to the lobby of the hotel. Not a deal breaker but for smaller ladies who are not so strong, do take note.
