"This hotel is absolutely horrible! It is incredibly overpriced, at the same rate as a Luxury Hotel, but they have service comparable to a Motel in Rural Alabama. "We stayed 3 nights in mid April. First, do not let the rainy season deter you. The rains did come in the late afternoons and the trekking was a little muddy, but I think it is likely the best time to gorilla trek and/or look for the golden monkeys. "We were only here for one night, but Frances was a great host. The room as clean and comfortable, and he provided a good breakfast. We opted not to go to Volcanoes National Park, but Frances provided us with a great guide, who took us to Twin Lakes. On that trip we met MANY wonderful Rwandans out in the countryside, and saw beautiful scenery. The next morning our guide, Janvier, took us to the park where the baby gorilla naming ceremony is held, then out into the countryside again. FANTASTIC!"

"Exceedingly lovely staff. So many nice surprises like burning fireplaces in the rooms with hot water bottles in the beds, foot rubs and shoe cleanings after our hike. Mattresses were amazing. "The property is well maintained and conveniently located just a short walk from the Musanze bus terminal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food prepared by the guest house cook was excellent!
