"The room was clean and well remodeled. The hotel is a short walk from where we were dropped off by the bus but a much longer way to where we have to catch the bus down to the train station. The staff was able to book us a nice day Etna trip which includes transportation, a short trekking to Mt. Sartorius, a small volcano, and a wonderful lunch and wine tasting at Gambino. Well worth it. One cons: it is very expensive here in Taormina even by US CA standard, and the service people are not very friendly"

"Hotel Metropole was a perfect location for our stay in Taormina. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the wait staff were amazing. The hotel room was spacious and clean with amazing views The infinity pool was a great way to relax in between and after our day of touring. We highly recommend staying at Hotel Metropole."

"It is a beautiful hotel, very well located near Corso Umberto. The staff is great and diligent. The breakfast is also amazing. If you land a good deal, go for it. I cannot recommend it at the price point I paid."
