Staff were great, room was spotless. A nice modern and good sized bathroom. Hotel was in walking distance of Hakata station and plenty of other things to see and do.
The room is simple and you get what you paid for. Good enough for an overnight or short stay. Hakata Station and Canal City is walking distance from hotel. I like the quiet neighborhood, although it was a weekend.
Thoroughly enjoyed my 7 night stay, my only complaints were that it was a little dusty in some areas and there was only a microwave in the lobby. Otherwise a comfortable stay with great access to Hakata station and right across from a 23hr affordable food spot (Sukiya)
It was not as good as I thought. It was clean but the atmosphere was not good. According to the itinerary, I canceled the reservation date after the visit to Yufuin and stayed at another hotel nearby, which was even more so. The price was the same, but the hotel level was different. I don't recommend it as a family trip. To be honest, I don't think I will go again.
500m or so from the main train station. So rougky 5 minute walk. Which is very handy if youve got heavy or lots of luggage.
Only stayed here for 2 nights and wasnt there a lot.
The room seemed very dated and a bit unkept. Chipped desks and chairs, hair in the showers which weren't mine. Not the nicest hotel but it did what i needed it to and it had a fridge which was very handy.
Location made it very convenient for me, so wasnt the end of the world. Not the worst hotel ive stayed in but far from the best

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Beds are the equivalent of sleeping on a plywood floor with a blanket. The "airconditioning" was non existent. Upon entering our room on the 11th floor we were greeted with a temperature or 28C. Turned on the AC however no reprieve from the heat was given. The only thing we had was the window which did only opened a few Inches. The room was clean ish. The shower head was not connected to the hose. I was able to fix that. The fridge although keeps items cool generated a ton of heat to the room adding to our discomfort. Despite asking the front desk about the airconditioning the response was the a/c wasn't available yet. This hotel is only suitable for one night.
The facility was close to the train station and walkable. We were able to walk to the areas we wanted. The employees were nice by some didn't speak English or Japanese. Many employees were from Nepal.
The other reviews are true! The air conditioning hardly works, the wifi is slow during evening hours, and the beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable. Thankfully they had fans for use otherwise I wouldn’t have been comfortable enough to sleep.
Aside from all that I did appreciate the larger than average room and full size bathroom and bathtub. The room was obviously aged but appeared to be clean.
Unfortunately based on the bed alone I most definitely could not recommend anyone stay here. Unless you’re already adapted to sleeping on concrete.
Do not book this hotel. I’ve stayed in over 11 hotels all across Japan, and this hotel is at the bottom of the list.
The website states: “Air-conditioned rooms feature hardwood floors, a flat-screen satellite TV, a refrigerator, nightwear, a toothbrush set, and an electric kettle with green tea. Private bathrooms also feature wooden floors and stylish tiled walls. A coin-operated launderette is available on site”
Well, there was no air conditioning and no laundry on site. WiFi is extremely spotty. The hotel even has a sign stating to limit your video calls.
Stylish? More like extremely out-dated. They don’t even have a key card, they provide you with an actual physical key, in which, if you want your room cleaned, you have to leave it in the front desk. Annoying.
And the lack of air conditioning? The windows don’t even open to let the cool November air in. Prepare to sweat.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It’s close to Hakata station, making it easy to navigate within Fukuoka. Other than that, I would spend the extra money to get an actual decent hotel.
