"We checked in online which meant the check in was quick only had to show one passport to show it was me. The room was 522 with sea view. Breakfast was good and a good choice. The bed was two singles pushed together. The AC was needed and was great as it was July. The resort of Fuengirola is certainly a tourist hotspot of Brits and Irish. Whilst the hotel was fantastic, I found parts of the resort littered in the morning after the night before. All in all a great hotel close to the beach."

"We had a wonderful six-night stay. While the room was a bit tight due to our use of the sofa bed, the location and amenities can’t be beat. Our balcony faced the beach and was a lovely extension to the room. The lobby and bar are welcoming and comfortable, the staff were all pleasant and friendly, and the daily breakfast buffet offered good options. Would stay again!"

"Comfortable and air-conditioned with entertaining view of the pool from 4th floor. Staff all very helpful, our linen was changed every 3 days as we were told. Very convenient location, with good Mercadona supermarket on ground floor of building, less than 10 minutes to the railway station and less than 15 min to the beach. Hundreds of restaurants, ice-cream 'Helataria' and 'Gelateria' everywhere! We enjoyed our stay. The green travel card for the bus and train was brilliant; buy it from a Tobacos shop. It costs €1.50 plus the amount you load on it, but is much cheaper than buying tickets for each journey (e.g. €1.20 vs €3.70 to travel one-way from airport to Los Boliches, nearest stop for Nuriasol). The card is valid for all stops on train from Fuengirola to Malaga centre and on local blue C-line and green M-line buses. We (2) went to Mijas, Torremolinos and Malaga (all return trips) as well as the airport (single) and Fuengirola, and still had €6.59 left from initial €25 loading. We cooked, so found kitchen equipment a bit sparse: basic plates, dishes, glasses and mugs, a few pans. The only knives were cutlery for eating, no sharp knife (so had to buy one and leave it behind as not aircraft friendly!). We also bought tea-towels (none provided) and small non-stick saucepan (both taken home with us), as well as kitchen tissue, salt & pepper/herbs (left behind). Overall score 4.5/5, just let down by the kitchen equipment."
