"I have traveled much of the world, and this is the loveliest hotel in which I have ever stayed. Gorgeous restored castle, beautiful grounds, lovely evening, meals on the lawn, and wonderful attentive staff. I cannot wait to come back! All of their rooms appear to be lovely, you cannot go wrong."

"Had an emergency and had to be admitted to hospital, messaged the hotel to explain and asked if they could kindly move the stay date an extra 24 hours, no cancellation...no empathy, took the money and cancelled the booking....if that's the kind of hotel that they are, enjoy the money, I'm not that desperate....karma will find a way to return the favour ...so the rating that I would give them is.... Really there are no minuses"

"It's a good hotel to stop overnight if you are on the road. There's not much around it, and getting to places (e.g. restaurants) requires a car. But the property is clean and beds were comfortable."

"Carl, our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a little trouble finding the entrance to his property and he came and got us on his Vespa. His place is a true oasis set up in the hills with all the most lovely amenities, including oversize patio umbrellas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. He recommended a restaurant in town for us and then let us there on his Vespa cause we looked a little confused. We were only sorry we could spend such a short time. If we do...

"We stayed one night prior to morning flight out of Pescara airport. The hotel was cool, quiet and clean. It was lovely to sit outside late afternoon and enjoy a drink and the pool did look inviting. The breakfast was adequate with choice, but plates and bowls were scarce and nobody actually explained anything, which made it hard to find things."

"Purtroppo la camera era davvero piena di polvere, polvere che sembrava posata da 10 anni. La struttura è datata, anche le porte e i mobili lo sono. Ho trovato sporcizia sui muri e nel frigo bar, per non dire armadio e altro. Il servizio è scarso, non ci sono fazzolettini usa e getta, avevano terminato le ciabattine, non ci sono detergenti per lavarsi e le tende non coprono totalmente dalla luce esterna. Mi dispiace perchè il personale è gentile però trovo che nonostante io abbia letto commenti...
