"Wonderful place to stay in the area. We are very familiar with the area, as we lived 20 minutes away for over 25 years. If you are looking for an upscale hotel experience, try Stoweflake Resort. If you want a more rustic stay, this is the place. The cabins are not too cramped (as others tend to be), with a full size tub and full kitchen, and space to breathe in both the bedroom and living room areas. We were there with our eighteen year old son. He slept in the bedroom, on the Queen size bed, with my husband, while I slept on the pull out couch in the living room (I wanted to watch TV longer at night). The pull out bed was surprisingly comfortable. When sitting on the bed it felt very lumpy and you could definitely feel the bars, but lying down was fine. Our dogs were very comfortable, as well. If one wanted to get knick-picky, you could say that the blowdryer had a hair stuck in it, the hot water could have been hotter, and there is no where to hang clothes. None of this takes away from the overall spotless cleanliness, comfort, and amazing hospitality of the host family (who are all very sweet and accommodating). Air conditioner worked great. There was no envelope in the room to leave a tip for the cleaner, and sadly we forgot to do this! Perhaps the family does all the cleaning themselves. Suggestion to stop the reviews about the kitchen sign to wash dishes before use: state that it was from a COVID regulation. Thanks for the wonderful experience!"

"This was a first time experience for us in a B&B. It was unique and fun, room and bed very comfortable. Even though the breakfast was not included, we bought it and it was great. We rellay enjoyed our stay here."

"The inn has a lot of charm"

"Unique is a great description, and this is exactly what we were looking for. First, the Old Stagecoach Inn building itself has plenty of character, starting with the front sitting area that encourages visitors to talk / read / work on a puzzle with a cup of tea / coffee / lemonade. The character extends to the rooms, which each have a different style, and we followed the description to specifically chose one with a "more romantic, historic feel". Second, the breakfasts were incredible, and encouraged us to indulge far more than we should have. There are full restaurants that would not have produced the quality of these meals, and that is another benefit of staying at independent properties that take pride in their work. We got to know the staff fairly well over just a few days, and not only to unique and character apply, but we felt welcomed as guests in a home rather than customers. Waterbury itself has a lot to offer for a quiet getaway, with plenty of restaurants in walking distance, a great bookstore just around the corner, many boutique shops, as well as Burlington, Montpelier and Stowe just a short drive away. I hestitate to post such a glowing review, because the last thing we want is too much competition when scheduling our next stay."
