We enjoyed our room on the sixth floor although the bathroom was too small and the closet was tiny Service throughout the hotel was excellent although housekeeping was inconsistent. They routinely forget to replace coffee cups, teabags, etc. Not what you'd expect for over $1,100 a night. Overall though the Martinez is highly recommended."

"View from restaurant and bar is very nice, the room balcony on 4th floor pretty good too. Staff are wonderfully attentive, even as a lone traveller made to feel important and house keeping excellent. The spa is brilliant, had 2 massages over 2 night stay, one of the most relaxing ever."

"Best Hotel in Nice Amazing location as well as beach club in front Yes you pay like 50 euros pp extra but it is what it is. Historic Hotel ( I believe the first in Nice ) Gorgeous art work. Staff very attentive and friendly. If in Nice the Best place to stay hands down. "

Staff incredibly friendly and helpful Very knowledgeable and spoke English (very helpful for us!!) Rooftop bar and pool quite lovely Beautiful space to watch the sunset!! Would highly recommend!"
