Where do I start? The couch in our room was covered in dog hair, the pull out bed was falling apart and sunken in, the walls were covered in grime, the floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in months, there was a clump of hair in the bedsheets, the breakfast options were terrible, the fitness room was closed. I’ll stop there. Will not be staying here again.

The room was clean, not spotless. The facility’s rooms definitely should be updated. The room door would stick. It was difficult to open from inside the room. The water pressure in the bathroom was great. My suggestion would be to go to high boy toilets instead of the shorter ones.

I booked this hotel because my grandmother had just been discharged from the hospital and needed a few days of rest before she could fly. We were on a family trip and had an emergency during our stay. She requires oxygen and cannot be in a room with environmental issues. On the first day, we discovered mold, a strong musty smell, and visible humidity in the room. The room also flooded due to a drainage problem. Although staff attempted partial repairs, the room remained wet, and we were told no room change was available. The next day I had to fly to Kerrville to move my grandmother out of the hotel. The manager on duty only apologized and did not offer any solution or compensation. When I contacted Expedia, I was told they could not help because the hotel—specifically the manager, Tina—claimed they found baby wipes in the bathroom causing the blockage and flooding. This is completely false. Regarding the mold, humidity, and structural issues, the hotel stated none of these problems existed, which is entirely untrue. I am attaching photos so you can judge for yourselves. It is disappointing that a respected hotel chain has such serious deficiencies that even put guests’ health at risk. I will notify the Texas Department of State Health Services to ensure others are not exposed to these conditions. Please do not stay here. Do not risk your loved ones’ well-being.

I booked this hotel because my grandmother had just been discharged from the hospital and needed a few days of rest before she could fly. We were on a family trip and had a medical emergency, so we needed a clean, safe room suitable for someone who depends on oxygen. This hotel failed on every level. On the very first day we found mold, a strong smell of humidity, mildew, and the room even flooded due to an obvious drainage issue. Although staff “fixed” it, the room remained wet and they were unable to move us to another room. The next day I had to fly to Kerrville to personally take my grandmother out of that hotel and move her somewhere safe. The manager on duty only offered an apology with no real solution. When I contacted Expedia, I was told they couldn’t do anything because the hotel manager, Tina, claimed they found baby wipes in the bathroom and that this supposedly caused the flooding. That statement is completely false. Regarding the mold, mildew, humidity, and the poor conditions of the room, the hotel stated that “none of these issues were present,” which is an outright lie. I am attaching photos so you can see the condition of the room for yourselves. It is extremely disappointing that a hotel with history and reputation would allow such hazardous conditions that clearly put guests’ health at risk. I will be filing a report with the Texas Department of State Health Services to prevent anyone else from going through this. Please do not stay here.
