Loved my stay at the Oasis Hotel. The owner and staff were super welcoming and really made me feel at home. They went out of their way with great local recommendations and helped with reservations. The room was spotless with a great view, and having laundry and breakfast available was a big plus. Highly recommend—would definitely stay here again.

The owners are so friendly and welcoming! The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was a nice spread. It’s conveniently located to the main area of Franz Josef. I would stay here again.

The rooms were spotless, containing a bath with jets and overhead shower. Great water pressure. Located 10 mins from the town in a nice quiet location. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful and gave us tips where to eat. The gentleman at breakfast was very polite and friendly. The hotel also has a 24 hr laundry with a honesty box available but we didn’t use it.

Room was very clean and comfortable but a bit bland for the size and cost. Could be much improved with a coffee machine or plunger and a couple of paintings on the bare walls. Continental breakfast fairly basic but reasonable. Nice outlook from the room.

Angela was a superb host. So warm and welcoming. The rooms are excellent with lots of thought put in to the little things that make a stay special like - the fireplace in the room and the comfy lounge chairs. Definitely the best place we have stayed during our two weeks roadtrip around the South Island.
