"Room was a touch warm on the 2nd floor, there is no AC from what I’m told, we visited in April, so luckily the outside temps were moderate at best. I would be unbearable in the summer without AC. Room was extremely clean and owners were very accomadating. Breakfast was fantastic, I’d stay again, just not in the summer"

"This was our first stay at Nightshade. My son lives in Marcellus and we were looking for a place that was close to him, economical, and clean. We found this place to be ideally located, and I can't say enough about our beautiful smiling host! It was great to have coffee and light breakfast items available before we headed out for our day. "The rooms were clean. Had everything in there you could possibly need in case you forgot to bring it yourself. Staff was very nice. Would definitely come here again. The breakfast selection was amazing and being able to dry your clothes or wash them whenever you need to is definitely a plus."

"The stay was horrible mold in the bathroom and along the window sill.There were stains on the shades and on the walls in the room there were crickets crawling on the shade and some where even dead on the floor .The toliet was stopped and the walk in shower was leaking water all on the floor .The covers were clean and the wash rags all looked dingy and not as clean .Never again will I ever rent a room from them again .Think twice before you book a room the hotel staff was accommodating and...

"Arrived late so can’t say my review is comprehensive nor entirely unbiased. That said, arrival was smooth at 1 am. Check-in was uneventful and the room was clean (and large) upon entry. One mishap was I thought I reserved a room with a king bed (solo traveler) but ended up in a suite with 2 queen beds. As for breakfast, it’s included in the nightly rate. Line-up of options is decent. Usage of paper plates requires you be a bit more thoughtful on how much food you carry in one go."

"Sheets may have been clean but sure didn’t look like it. Toilet looked like it had been plucked out of a garbage dump although it was useable. Hallway carpet was filthy. No drinking cups, no coffee pot, hair dryer had been removed from bathroom wall. Breakfast was VERY marginal. Not the typical Super 8 standards I am used to."

"We booked a room for graduation weekend. We left with no where to go within 30 minutes. This place was the dirty, smelly and poorly maintained. The room stunk like a hot boxed ash tray. You can tell one dirty rag was used to wipe all the surfaces. Almost everything was broken including the lock on the door. I just cant get past the smell....it stuck to us until we showered. Mind you we didnt even sit on one surface. There was a very sketchy crowd wandering around the building. The parking lot...
