I never stay a hotel as wonderful as this one. The hotel is located in nowhere,customers stayed for a purpose of the peaceful. I will revisit again and again in the future.

Beautiful & comfortable hotel

The Inatel Vila Ruiva is a gem and possibly the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was so spacious as was the bathroom. We had a patio area overlooking the countryside. While it wasn't pool weather, the swimming pool and deck area is lovely. Although there are not a lot of staff around, the staff proved to be friendly and helpful doing their multitasking. I also didnt realise when booking that there is a gym in the hotel too. The breakfast buffet was impressive also. There is not once aspect of the Inatel that isn't perfectly designed for comfort and relaxation, it even has in indoor garden downstairs. Outside there is ample parking and a beautiful little village.

Wonderful surprise

We arrived at the small medieval village of Vila Ruiva and expected to find, hopefully, a reasonable hotel in the Inatel Hotel. Entering the gates of the hotel area we were struck by the magnificent view and the architecturally clean-cut hotel building. From then on everything was pleasingly good to excellent - the staff were all pleasing, polite and helpful, the room and all hotel facilities spotlessly clean and well maintained. The hotel is obviously used as a conference centre and has all the required facilities. The surrounding areas are picturesque and interesting but we hardly left the premises, they were so comfortable.

A quiet place to get away

Rather surprising to find this modern luxury hotel in a very old, small village about 10 km from Fornos. There is really nowhere else to eat, but the buffet breakfast was excellent and the restaurant prices were quite low.
